What do you think of when you look at a baby? Is it the innocence, their strength, the way they smell?
For me, I instantly am taken to a place that allows me to know exactly what state of mind they’re in when you look down on their sweet little face. Generally, they will stay happy when they are playing until something happens to cause discomfort. Then they cry out in an attempt to return to their original state of comfort.
Our first instincts tells us that our natural state is happiness. We cry out when we don’t feel happy. We are in total discomfort when something is wrong.
We are born to feel good.
So why are so many of us stuck in a rut? Why do so many of us think that “good” is something acceptable to settle for?
Don’t quiet your instincts.
Don’t grow up believing that life is unfair because ultimately, your life will unfold in the way that you believe it will – not the way you want it to.
Change your belief. Replace it with this: Life is an even playing field, we all start out the same way, we all have the same amount of time in a day to make the most of it.
Stand up – you are the creator of your own story. Don’t accept the one that you have been given.
Speak up. Take action.
You don’t have to lie down and take it if life is propelling you down a path that doesn’t come close to your wildest dreams.
Profound changes will happen if you just keep that in mind.
And now that a little empowerment has settled in – go out and do something, one thing, that will put you in the right direction.
Until next time,
